Lollipop centerpieces have so many things going for them. First of all, they can be absolutely beautiful, especially when accented with ribbons and bows. Second, they can support most any theme because these days you can purchase lollipops in practically any shape and design. And third, they can also function as your party favor, saving you money while still sending your guests home with a wonderful, not to mention delicious, party favor.
Making your own lollipop centerpieces couldn't be easier. Here are some things to keep in mind to help you create centerpieces that will wow your guests:

- Vases can be inexpensively purchased at any craft store such as Michaels. Even supermarkets that have a flower department typically sell inexpensive glass vases, typically less than per vase. Look for vases that have a indented 'neck' to them so that you can easily tie a satin or organza ribbon around that section.
- If you choose not to put the lollipops in a vase you can also purchase floral foam and stick your lollipops in them and then put the foam in a box of some sort. You can actually use simple cardboard boxes and wrap them in pretty gift wrapping paper that compliments the theme or colors of your party. Then cover the foam with colorful paper shreds or tissue and it will look terrific!
- Make sure that each lollipop is individually packaged in cellophane and preferably tied with a ribbon in a color that compliments your party decor.
- To really make your lollipop centerpiece stand out choose lollipops that are wrapped with personalized ribbon (usually satin); not only is it beautiful but it also dresses up and personalizes the edible centerpiece.
